Yes, you use our Spartan pumper for all your training and road-testing. A road-testing date is booked for four students once their knowledge tests are completed with Drivetest (four road tests per day of two in the morning and two in the afternoon). It includes a complimentary review session in the morning of your road-testing date. It also allows you to choose when you would like to test that day. The Road Test is conducted at the Lindsay DriveTest Center just the next street up from us.

Question 3- How are the in-truck lessons offered?

Included with Course- You get 2 Group In-Truck Lessons with your DZ Licence Course.

Group In-Truck Lessons or One on One (Individual).

Group In-Truck Lessons- Are a half day (4 hours) each. There are two sessions offered each day. Morning session is from 8 am-12 pm. Afternoon session is 1 pm-5 pm. We allow 2 students in the truck per 4-hour training session.

One on One- Individual In-Truck lessons are available upon request. They will be 3 hours long each. A One on One lesson can be booked in exchange for a group lesson offered with the course. You can custom choose your dates and start time. There is a $149 surcharge (per lesson) for one-on-one lessons. This also allows for more scheduling options (weekday evenings, weekends, etc.)

Additional- In-truck lessons are available to be taken at any time after the classroom session. They can be prior to In-Truck Lesson one, in between lessons one and two, or after in-truck lesson two. They are available to assist you to be more prepared, catch up, or just have more time required to feel comfortable enough to inspect and drive the truck to ministry standards. Additional In-Truck training is $99 per hour with a 2-hour minimum.

Question 4- When can I take my driving lessons?

Driving lessons can be booked 7 days a week. They are booked on a first requested/first reserved basis. Conveniently you will book your In-Truck Lessons from a list of dates given when your road-testing date is booked/confirmed with the drive test center. We generally book Road Testing and In-Truck Training dates at your Classroom Session. You should space out your two In-Truck Lessons between your classroom session and your Road-Testing Date. We do not recommend taking back-to-back, In-Truck Lessons (two days in as row), as you will need time in between to practice and study. We will not book your second In-Truck Lesson, the day before your scheduled Road Test.  Additional In-Truck Training may be purchased/taken at any time.

We are located at 68 St David Street in Lindsay, ON located in The City of Kawartha Lakes. We are 30 minutes north of the 401 at hwy. 115/35 (location tab under contact tab). We own our very own fire station training center. Park in our private 20 space parking lot, then come in and grab a coffee. Our neighbors think it is a fire station, so we will let them.
